Two adjacent buildings in the middle of Cologne’s MediaPark are home to KOMED event spaces. MediaPark 7 contains the KOMED Saal (a large hall), a foyer and six workshop rooms; MediaPark 6 provides spacious foyer areas and the bright, dividable rooms 1-3 and 4-5.
The KOMED Saal is the largest event space in the MediaPark 7 building. Featuring exciting architecture and a 300 sqm floorspace, it is an impressive venue for a wide variety of events – from congresses, symposia, product launches to annual general meetings and specialist conferences.
The building was designed by Professor Kister and captivates visitors with its exciting architecture and generous dimensions – something for which it was named “Exemplary Building in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia” in 2000.
Its central location makes it easy to reach by public transport or car (directions). The MediaPark’s underground car park has spaces for 2,500 vehicles.
Other event service providers such as hotels and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity.
